Monolith Summer School 2010 - Your Personal Invitation

Monoliths are ideally positioned to facilitate research and manufacturing of the extremely large biological species, whilst offering major speed advantages over traditional chromatography materials for work with typical protein molecules and other biospecies.

This conference is dedicated to those working in the above areas, and we would strongly encourage you to consider attending if you are so involved.

We are confident that you will enjoy the event, gain valuable technical insight and benefit from the wide-ranging networking opportunities with key scientists.

Monolith Summer School and Symposium on Biochromatography, Bioconversion, and Solid Phase Synthesis

May 29-June 2, 2010

Portorož, Slovenia

The preparations for the 2010 Summer School and Symposium on Monoliths for Biochromatography, Bioconversion, and Solid Phase Synthesis are underway. We are pleased to invite you to the only international event dedicated to Monolith Technology and its application to the research and production of biomolecules.

When the first event was held in 2004, the work on Monolithic Columns was in its infancy. Today, researchers from around the world are using this revolutionary technology for proteomics, viral, and pDNA research and the industrial production of biomolecules for therapeutic use. This technology will ensure that these promising treatments are more quickly accessible to patients worldwide.

This program is designed for people with varying experience in the use and application of chromatography that want to be innovators and leaders. The Symposium will continue to have the leading international experts in this technology discuss the trends in monolith development, new applications, as well as method optimization and integration of monoliths into already existing R&D, Production, or QC/QA processes. In addition to the Symposium, there is a 2 day School composed of workshops focused on the practical application of the knowledge gained during the symposium to such areas as Scale Up, Biomolecule Purification, etc. This power packed program also includes opportunities to network and enjoy the company of your peers durinig the many Social Events aimed at exposing you to the culture and the beautiful surroundings of your host country Slovenia.

As in the past, the proceedings of the 2010 school will be published in the Journal of Chromatography A.
